Asian Suresh Entertainments has acquired the all-India rights for Vishwak Sen’s upcoming film ‘Mechanic Rocky’ and Sree Vishnu’s ‘Swag’. Interestingly, the rights for ‘Swag’ were purchased at a 10% higher rate compared to ‘Mechanic Rocky’.
Both actors are in need of a significant blockbuster, aiming for a film that grosses 50 Cr. While both have enjoyed decent success recently, they have yet to achieve a major hit. Vishwak Sen’s films generally open well but tend to struggle during weekdays after the first weekend. Sree Vishnu, contrastingly, delivered a hit with ‘Samajavaragamana’ in 2023, though his subsequent release, ‘Om Bheem Bush’, did not perform well at the box office.
Vishwak Sen’s recent projects, ‘Gaami’ and ‘Gangs of Godavari’, saw moderate success but fell short of major hit status. As both actors pivot towards commercial entertainers, the industry is eager to see if they can finally secure the big blockbuster they’ve been aiming for.
