Vijay Deverakonda’s film ‘The Family Star‘ hit theaters in April this year with high expectations but received a mixed response and underperformed at the box office. Directed by Parasuram, this movie marks the second collaboration between the actor and director after their blockbuster ‘Geetha Govindam’.
The Hindi dubbed version of ‘The Family Star’ is set for its OTT release. Jio Cinemas has acquired the digital rights, and the film will be available for streaming starting June 28, 2024. It will be interesting to see how the Hindi-speaking OTT audience responds to this film.
Featuring Mrunal Thakur as the female lead, the movie is produced by Dil Raju under the Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. The cast also includes Abhinaya, Vasuki, Rohini Hattangadi, Ravi Babu, and Vennela Kishore in key roles. The music for the film is composed by Gopi Sundar
