SS Rajamouli, the visionary director who brought global acclaim to Telugu cinema, is celebrated for his masterful direction and epic films. Netflix has announced the release of a docu-film titled “Modern Masters: SS Rajamouli,” which will premiere on August 2, 2024. This inspiring documentary will explore the genius behind blockbusters such as “Eega,” “Baahubali: The Beginning,” and “RRR.”
Today, Netflix released a trailer offering a sneak peek into the docu-film. The trailer features insights from renowned Telugu actors Prabhas, Ram Charan, and Jr NTR, as well as acclaimed producer Karan Johar and esteemed Hollywood director James Cameron.
The Netflix original also includes appearances by MM Keeravaani and Rama Rajamouli. Although currently available only in English, it would be ideal for the documentary to also be released in Telugu. We await further updates from Netflix regarding additional language versions.
The 1-hour and 14-minute documentary is produced by Sameer Nair, Deepak Segal, and Anupama Chopra, and directed by Raghav Khanna. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting release.
