Kalki 2898 AD, directed by Nag Ashwin, has entered its 5th week and continues to perform spectacularly across all territories. In its 25-day run, the sci-fi action film has reached several milestones. In the Telugu states alone, it has grossed approximately Rs 280 crore.
The film has also seen impressive numbers in other regions, collecting Rs 74 crore in Karnataka, Rs 44 crore in Tamil Nadu, and Rs 32 crore in Kerala. The northern territories have contributed significantly as well, with Rs 310 crore in business.
Overall, the total all-India gross stands at Rs 744 crore, while the overseas gross collection amounts to $30 million (approximately Rs 250 crore). This brings the worldwide gross collection of “Kalki 2898 AD” to around Rs 990 crore. The film, self-released by Ashwini Dutt through various distributors, has surpassed Rs 950 crore globally and is steadily approaching the 1000 crore mark.
