The Kanchana series, beloved by fans in both Tollywood and Kollywood, is set to continue with its latest installment, Kanchana 4. Directed by Raghava Lawrence, who has earned praise for his directorial skills, the film is poised to begin production soon. It’s rumored that actress Pooja Hegde is being considered for the female lead role.
With a massive budget of around INR 100 crore, Kanchana 4 is being produced by GoldMine Movies. Raghava Lawrence, who also plays the lead, is aiming for a strong comeback after mixed results from his recent films, Chandramukhi 2 and Jigarthanda: Double X. While Chandramukhi 2 failed to meet expectations, Jigarthanda performed well among OTT audiences.
Although the full cast and crew details are yet to be announced, many actors from the previous Kanchana films are expected to return. However, Lawrence will need to break away from the series’ routine and predictable patterns, as the Kanchana franchise has faced criticism for becoming repetitive. Kanchana 4 will be crucial in reviving the franchise, and fans are hopeful for fresh twists in the storyline.
