The NTR wave has taken the United States by storm with the highly anticipated pan-India action drama Devara, also starring Bollywood stars Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor. The film is creating a sensation at the US box office even before its release.
According to the latest reports from overseas trade circles, Devara has crossed the $1 million mark in pre-sales, amassing over $1.05M from 1,197 shows across 408 locations in the USA. With over 35,000 tickets sold for the premieres alone, the film is witnessing unprecedented demand.
Following this massive start, fans are urging distributors to add more premiere shows across the USA and Canada. So far, Devara has grossed over $1.13M from pre-sales in North America, with trade analysts predicting an impressive $3 million opening in the region.
The excitement has been further amplified by the film’s theatrical trailer, which has been trending on social media, building significant buzz ahead of its release. The first installment of this two-part franchise is set to hit theaters on September 27. Directed by Koratala Siva and produced by Mikkilineni Sudhakar and Kosaraju Hari Krishna, the film’s music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, with Nandamuri Kalyan Ram presenting it.
