However, the movie’s pre-release event, scheduled for last night, was canceled due to concerns over overcrowding and potential security risks. Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor issued apologies through video messages, expressing regret over the cancellation. This news left fans disappointed, especially with the announcement that no further promotional events will be held before the movie’s release. Speculation suggests that the team might hold a press conference post-release, similar to the strategy used by Kalki 2898 AD.
Meanwhile, Jr NTR is heading to Los Angeles to attend a screening of Devara at Beyond Fest on September 26, 2024, making it impossible for him to be involved in any promotional events before the release. This has further disappointed his fanbase, though excitement is still building as fans await the start of ticket sales in the Telugu states.
Directed by Koratala Siva and produced by NTR Arts and Yuvasudha Arts, Devara is slated for release on September 27, 2024, in multiple languages. The movie’s soundtrack is composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
