Radhika Apte is expecting her first child, as revealed during her appearance at the Sister Midnight screening at the BFI London Film Festival on October 16. She surprised fans by debuting her baby bump in a black, off-shoulder midi dress but did not explicitly mention her pregnancy, simply sharing photos with the caption, “SISTER MIDNIGHT UK Premier #lff2024.” Fans were quick to shower her with congratulations and best wishes on social media.
Radhika is married to British violinist and composer Benedict Taylor. The couple, who divide their time between London and Mumbai, got married in 2012 after meeting in 2011 when Radhika was in London for a sabbatical. They had a private wedding before holding an official ceremony in 2013.
On the work front, Radhika recently had a cameo role in Merry Christmas, directed by Sriram Raghavan, starring Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi. She will also appear in the revenge thriller series Akka alongside Keerthy Suresh, directed by Dharmaraj Shetty. Sister Midnight, her current project, is a genre-bending comedy directed by Karan Kandhari, which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2024.
