Days after Naga Chaitanya married Sobhita Dhulipala, his ex-wife, actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, hinted that she might be open to finding a new partner. Recently, Samantha took to Instagram stories to share a post about what 2025 holds for certain zodiac signs—Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn. According to the post, these signs can expect a busy year ahead, with progress in work, financial stability, a loyal and loving partner, improved health, and even fertility for those trying to conceive. Sharing the post, Samantha wrote, “Amen,” expressing hope that these predictions come true.
Samantha and Naga Chaitanya separated in 2021 and got divorced. While she has not publicly commented on his second marriage, she recently opened up about the hurtful comments she faced after their divorce. In an interview with Galatta India, she shared, “When a woman goes through a divorce, there’s a lot of shame and stigma attached to it.” She further added, “I received comments like ‘second-hand’ and ‘wasted life.’ You’re pushed into a corner where you’re supposed to feel like a failure, guilt, and shame. I do believe it can be really hard for families and girls who have gone through that.”
On the professional front, Samantha was recently seen in Citadel: Honey Bunny, alongside Varun Dhawan. The series, released on Prime Video on November 6, 2024, is the Indian spin-off of the original Citadel, which starred Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas. The show received a positive response from both critics and audiences and was even nominated for the Best Foreign Language Series category at the 30th Critics Choice Awards.
