Pushpa 2: The Rule” is currently trailing behind “Kalki 2898 AD” in the Nizam region, despite initial expectations that the Allu Arjun starrer would easily surpass the Prabhas-led film’s box office performance. “Kalki 2898 AD” had an outstanding run, collecting 153 Cr gross in Nizam during its full run, dominating the region for several weeks. In contrast, “Pushpa 2” has grossed approximately 140 Cr in its first three weeks, making it challenging to surpass the 150 Cr milestone.
While “Pushpa 2” lags in gross collections, it may have a slight edge in share terms, with the film benefiting from better share agreements compared to “Kalki 2898 AD.” Notably, “Pushpa 2” collected more than “Kalki” in the initial weeks when share terms were more favorable. However, when it comes to gross earnings, “Kalki 2898 AD” is ahead.
Despite the initial optimism that “Pushpa 2” would hit the 100 Cr share mark in Nizam, it seems unlikely to achieve this feat. As of now, only “RRR” has crossed the 100 Cr share milestone in this region. It remains to be seen which film will ultimately secure the title of Nizam’s box office leader.
