Anil Ravipudi is riding high on success with consecutive box office hits, and his latest film, Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, is on track to surpass the ₹300 crore milestone this week.
In a recent interview with Bharadwaj Rangan, Anil shared insights about the film’s screenplay, admitting that he could have infused more comedy in the second half. He specifically mentioned that the character Bulli Naidu had significant potential for humor, which he felt was underutilized.
Instead, the narrative leaned heavily on Venkatesh’s character and his conflicts between his wife and ex-girlfriend. While this aspect worked well, Anil believes incorporating additional comedic moments with Bulli Naidu would have elevated the film’s entertainment quotient even further.
