Every year, some prestigious awards are given to telugu cinema personalities. The Telangana government after a brief discussion has finalized the guidelines for the Nandi Awards, aiming to celebrate excellence in Telugu cinema. A committee which was chaired by Narasimha Rao Dil Raju as vice-chairman, was formed to streamline the process which is very complex. new guidelines will now be shared with filmmakers and media representatives for the 2024 awards;this has been done after multiple meetings.
For those films which were released after Telangana’s formation in June 2014, there is a special Best Film award to recognize outstanding work up to December 2023. This comes after Telugu cinemas’ huge success in the FILM industry.
A grand award will be given and the application process is being accepted.
