Retro movie will be Suriya’s latest movie. But it is not getting the same response as Nani’s Hit 3. It hit the theaters on May 1, 2025. Pooja hegde is playing the female lead role. The movie is directed by Karthik Subbaraj and the cast includes Jayaram, Joju George, and Nassar. Santosh Narayanan is composing the music.
The film is Produced by Kaarthekeyen, Santhanam, Kalyan Subramanian, Jyothika and Suriya under Stone Bench Creations and 2D Entertainment and Edited by Shafique Mohamed Ali.
The film collections dropped on its second day and it collected only around 14 crores gross worldwide, taking the 2-day worldwide gross to 47 crores. It also does not have any chance of getting a jump in box office collection.
With this trend, the film may collect around 75 crores by this weekend. After the weekend ends. This proves that it is very difficult for the film to reach the 100 crore mark.
