The film was initially scheduled for an April release, but it was delayed due to VFX work and the makers have to extend the dates.
Manchu Vishnu takes multiple roles for Kannappa is going to happen. He took the plot from Tanikella Bharani and worked on the story and screenplay for the film. He is the producer of this film.
Vishnu composed a few action sequences in the film also. He has his experience in the film also. He is continuously promoting the film as well. In India he promoted the Kannappa movie in all big cities already. He is now going to the USA for a big promotional tour.
