Pawan Kalyan’s OG Gets a New Cinematographer—Reason Behind the Sudden Change

Date:

Power Star Pawan Kalyan is making the most of his available time by wrapping up his long-pending film commitments. After rejoining the shoot of Hari Hara Veera Mallu, he has now stepped onto the sets of his highly anticipated action film They Call Him OG, directed by Sujeeth.

In a notable development, ace cinematographer Ravi K Chandran has been replaced by Manoj Paramahamsa for the remainder of the shoot. The film has faced several delays since its launch, primarily due to scheduling issues. Coordinating the availability of all actors and technicians has proven to be a major challenge.

Ravi K Chandran, who was initially onboard as the cinematographer, had to opt out due to prior commitments, including the Tamil film Parasakthi. With no possibility of his return, the makers brought in Manoj Paramahamsa—known for his stylish and visually rich work—to take over the camera duties.

Interestingly, Manoj shares a strong rapport with both Pawan Kalyan and Trivikram Srinivas, having previously worked on Hari Hara Veera Mallu. His addition is expected to accelerate the filming process and bring a sleek visual flair to OG.

The team is now focused on completing Pawan Kalyan’s portions at the earliest, so they can move on to post-production and other pending work. If all goes as planned, the makers aim to bring OG to the big screens later this year.
