Despite featuring two massive stars, War 2 hasn’t generated the level of buzz one might expect. So far, the makers have only released a single teaser, which received a lukewarm response from audiences. With limited promotional material released until now, the team is skipping additional teasers and heading straight to the trailer launch.
Releasing alongside Rajinikanth and Lokesh Kanagaraj’s highly anticipated film Coolie, War 2 faces tough competition, especially in the Southern market. For the trailer to make a real impact, it will need to create a strong impression and stand out against the Coolie wave.
In North India, the War franchise already holds significant brand value, which is expected to draw audiences to theaters. However, in the South, the primary driving force is Jr. NTR’s presence.
