There has been speculation surrounding the film “Gaanja Shankar,” featuring mega hero Sai Dharam Tej and directed by Sampath Nandi. Recent reports suggested the project had been shelved, with concerns raised by the Telangana Anti Narcotics Bureau (TANB) regarding its title and storyline.
However, during a special screening event for the short film “Satya,” Sai Dharam Tej addressed these rumors with a touch of satire. He humorously mentioned relying on Telugu movie websites for updates on his own projects and expressed surprise at learning of the film’s supposed shelving through media reports.
Asserting his lack of knowledge about the situation, Sai Dharam Tej emphasized his reliance on media sources for updates on the project’s status. This clarifies that “Gaanja Shankar” remains in progress. The film is produced by Naga Vamsi in association with Sai Soujanya, under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, with Bheems Ceciroleo as the music director.
