Star actor Dhanush, amidst his ongoing pan-Indian projects “Raayan” and “Kubera,” has recently announced his involvement in a new venture – a biopic chronicling the life of the legendary musician Ilaiyaraaja.
Titled simply “Ilaiyaraaja,” the film’s launch event was graced by none other than the maestro himself, Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja, alongside Ulaga Nayagan Kamal Haasan and other esteemed guests. Together, Ilaiyaraaja, Kamal Haasan, and Dhanush unveiled the captivating first look poster.
Directed by Arun Matheswaran, known for his work on “Captain Miller” with Dhanush, this project is set to commence production soon. Nirav Shah will helm the cinematography, while Ilaiyaraaja himself will weave his magic through the musical score.
