The much-anticipated sequel to the cult classic, Indian/Bharateeyudu, titled Indian 2/Bharateeyudu 2, is finally slated for a June release after years of anticipation. Director Shankar, preoccupied with his upcoming project, Game Changer, caused delays in the production schedule, prompting frustration among fans.
Initially scheduled for a summer release, the film’s debut has been pushed to June, with plans to coincide with Bakrid festivities. The team is expected to unveil the official release date soon, possibly during the Tamil New Year celebrations on April 14th. Although the teaser has been released, fans remain eager for more updates.
Discontent among fans has grown due to Shankar’s focus on Game Changer, resulting in a lack of updates and delays in Indian 2’s progress. Despite Game Changer’s recent song release featuring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani, Indian 2’s production has lagged behind, disappointing fans who await timely updates and progress reports from Shankar.
