Hema (born Krishna Veni) is an Indian actress and comedian primarily known for her work in Telugu cinema. With a career spanning over numerous films, she has appeared in more than 250 movies as of 2014. Hema received the prestigious Nandi Award for Best Female Comedian for her performance in the film Konchem Ishtam Konchem Kashtam.
Hema Career:
Hema, born Krishna Veni, hails from a family in Razole, East Godavari district. She studied until the seventh grade before discontinuing her education. With a keen interest in films from a young age, she began her acting career early on. After a brief hiatus due to marriage, she made a successful comeback with the film Murari and has since continued her career in the industry. Upon entering the film industry, she adopted the name Hema.
