Directed by Shankar Shanmugam, Indian 2 is gearing up for a grand theatrical release on July 12, 2024, across Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi languages. The versatile Kamal Haasan stars in the lead role, adding anticipation to the film’s release.
The movie’s audio launch event, held last night in Chennai, was a lavish affair attended by numerous guests, including the film’s cast and crew. Director Shankar made an announcement during the event, revealing that Kajal Aggarwal, despite playing a significant role, will not be seen in Indian 2. Instead, her scenes will be reserved for Indian 3, adding an intriguing twist for audiences to look forward to.
While this news may have slightly disappointed Kajal’s fans, who eagerly anticipated her performance alongside Kamal Haasan in this major project, they will now extend their anticipation until the release of Indian 3.
Siddharth and Rakul Preet Singh take on the romantic leads in this movie, while a stellar ensemble cast including SJ Surya, Bobby Simha, Vivek, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Brahmanandam, Samuthirakani, Nedumudi Venu, Delhi Ganesh, Manobala, Jagan, Kalidas Jayaram, Gulshan Grover, Zakir Hussain, Piyush Mishra, Akhilendra Mishra, and others portray pivotal roles.
