Ajay Devgn’s ‘Shaitaan’ to Stream on Netflix from May 4: Horror Hit Tops 150 Crores at Box Office

Bollywood star Ajay Devgn has scored another hit in the horror genre with “Shaitaan.” Known for his role in the classic horror film “Bhoot” directed by Ram Gopal Varma, Ajay Devgn has once again made a mark with “Shaitaan,” which has become a box office sensation. Despite competition from other new releases, “Shaitaan” dominated the Bollywood box office, grossing approximately 150 crores nett in India.

Fans of the horror thriller have some exciting news. “Shaitaan” will be available for streaming on Netflix starting tomorrow, May 4. This was confirmed by the OTT platform, with the gap between the theatrical release and the digital release being 57 days. Madhavan plays the antagonist in the film, which is an official remake of the Gujarati movie “Vash.” The remake’s climax has been rewritten by director Vikas Bahl, adding a fresh twist to the storyline.

“Shaitaan” quickly gained attention with its gripping trailer and saw a strong opening at the box office during its first weekend. The film’s momentum continued, making it the second-highest-grossing Hindi film of 2024, following “Fighter.” Jyothika and Janki Bodiwala also play pivotal roles in the movie.
