The highly anticipated sequel to the blockbuster Akhanda has officially been announced, titled Akhanda2: Thaandavam. This project marks the much-awaited reunion of the dynamic duo, Nandamuri Balakrishna and director Boyapati Sreenu.
The title was revealed just hours before the pooja ceremony, adding to the excitement surrounding the film. Balakrishna’s elder daughter, Brahmani, had the honor of giving the first clap, while his younger daughter switched on the camera, making the event memorable for the entire team. Filming is slated to commence in December 2024, after Balakrishna wraps up his current project, NBK 109.
Renowned music director Thaman will once again lend his talents to compose the score for Akhanda 2, while Pragya Jaiswal will star as the female lead. The film is produced by Raam Achanta and Gopichand Achanta under the 14 Reels Plus banner.
