The much-anticipated collaboration between Allu Arjun and director Atlee, tentatively titled #AA22xA6, was officially announced recently. However, the film’s regular shooting is yet to begin and, according to the latest buzz, is expected to commence only by December 2025 or January 2026.
The delay is attributed to the extensive pre-production work. Atlee is bringing on board top-notch technicians and plans to use cutting-edge technology, which requires several months of meticulous planning and preparation—estimated to take another six months.
Meanwhile, Allu Arjun is also preparing intensively for the role. He has roped in celebrity fitness trainer Lloyd Stevens to undergo a significant physical transformation for the film.
The makers are reportedly eyeing a Sankranthi 2027 release. Until then, Allu Arjun is not expected to have any other releases.
