The advance bookings for the biggest film of the year, Pushpa 2: The Rule, began in North India a few hours ago, and the initial response is earth-shattering to say the least. As of now, the movie earned approximately Rs. 3 crores just from the Hindi version. The full-fledged bookings are yet to open in the national chains, and the Allu Arjun starrer is looking to score an all-time record in Bollywood looking at the momentum.
The opening day record is currently in the name of Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, which raked in Rs. 65 crores net. Pushpa 2 can easily go past Jawan’s number, and we need to see with what margin the Allu Arjun starrer will create the new record. The bookings will soon open in the Telugu states.
Directed by Sukumar, the PAN Indian action drama features Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead. The movie also stars Fahadh Faasil, Jagapathi Babu, Rao Ramesh, Anasuya, Sunil, Dhananjay, and others in crucial roles. Devi Sri Prasad composed the songs. Thaman and Sam CS provided the background score.
