Tollywood star Allu Arjun, who had been facing legal troubles in connection with the Sandhya Theatre stampede, received a major relief on Friday when the court granted him bail. The actor, who was named as Accused No. 11 (A11) in the case, is currently on interim bail, granted by the High Court. The court directed him to approach the Nampally Court for regular bail, following its order.
Allu Arjun filed his request for regular bail in the Nampally Court, as per the High Court’s directions. The hearing for the case was initially scheduled for December 30, 2024, but the court adjourned the judgment to January 3, 2025. During the hearing, Allu Arjun’s defense team argued that the actor had no connection to the stampede at Sandhya Theatre, which tragically led to the death of his fan, Revathi. However, the Chikkadpally Police opposed the plea, requesting the court not to grant bail.
After carefully considering arguments from both sides, the court granted Allu Arjun regular bail and instructed him to cooperate fully with the ongoing investigation.
