Icon Star Allu Arjun has finally been released from Chanchalaguda Jail this morning, much to the delight of his fans and family. The actor was warmly received by his father, Allu Aravind, and a large crowd of supporters gathered outside the premises.
The actor’s detention stemmed from his alleged involvement in the Sandhya Theatre stampede case. On the previous day, the Nampally Court had ordered a 14-day judicial remand for Allu Arjun. However, relief came when the High Court granted him interim bail.
Despite the court’s decision, his release was delayed due to procedural hurdles. Jail authorities claimed they had not received the official copy of the High Court’s bail order. It was later reported that the order copy had issues with its format and was not uploaded online on time. By the time the corrected order was resubmitted, senior officials authorized to process the release were unavailable, leading to further delays.
During his time at Chanchalaguda Jail, Allu Arjun was classified as an undertrial prisoner with the number 7697 and was housed in a Class-1 room at the Manjeera Barracks. Fans and industry colleagues rallied behind the star on social media with the trending hashtag #WeStandWithAlluArjun, showcasing strong support for the actor.
