His debut film Pataas released a decade ago, and in this short span, he has delivered an impressive eight super-hit films, a remarkable feat that is difficult to achieve in such a time frame. While SS Rajamouli has also been a consistent blockbuster director, he takes more time between films, whereas Anil Ravipudi has managed to deliver hit after hit with impressive ease.
Though a few of his films received mixed reviews, none have been considered major failures. Most of his successful projects have been produced by Dil Raju, bringing significant profits. His recent film, Sankranthiki Vastunnam, stands out as a mega-blockbuster, shot in just 72 days on a tight budget, yielding enormous profits for the makers.
Looking ahead, Anil Ravipudi is set to work on a script for Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film, with shooting scheduled to begin in June. The film is targeted for a Sankranthi 2026 release.
