Bandla Ganesh, also known as Ganesh Babu, born on March 10, 1973, is a prominent figure in Indian cinema, particularly Telugu cinema, where he has excelled as both an actor and a producer. His journey into film production commenced in 2009 with the movie “Anjaneyulu,” produced under his banner, Parameswara Art Productions.

Bandla Ganesh Early Life:

Raised in Shadnagar since the age of six, Ganesh hails from a background rooted in poultry farming, with his father pursuing the profession. His passion for acting ignited at a young age, inspired by Pawan Kalyan’s memorable performance in the 1998 film “Suswagatham.”

Bandla Ganesh Career:

Initially establishing himself as a comedian, Ganesh found prominence in the Telugu film industry, notably through collaborations with director Puri Jagannadh.

Ganesh’s acting prowess shone through in the commercially successful film “Gabbar Singh,” further solidifying his presence in the industry. His profound admiration for Pawan Kalyan has been evident on numerous occasions, publicly expressed through speeches and appearances, notably during the audio launch event of “Gabbar Singh.”

Politics:

In September, he affiliated himself with the Congress party, aiming to participate in the 2018 Telangana elections. However, despite his aspirations, he did not receive the party’s ticket for candidacy. Subsequently, on April 5, 2019, he publicly declared his retirement from politics.

  • A doctor from Hyderabad lodged a complaint with the police, alleging that Ganesh had insulted him based on caste.
  • Prior to this, certain leaders from the YSR Congress party had filed complaints with the Vijayawada Joint Commissioner of Police, citing inappropriate remarks made by Ganesh regarding their MLA Roja.
  • In November 2017, film writer Vakkantham Vamsi initiated a check-bouncing case against him in the Erramanzil court in Hyderabad. Consequently, the court sentenced Ganesh to six months’ imprisonment and imposed a fine of approximately 16 lakh rupees. However, he secured bail through personal surety.
