After a brief hiatus from Telugu cinema and a rocky Bollywood debut with the Chatrapathi remake, Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas seems to be gearing up for a strong comeback. His upcoming action drama Bhairavam has already created buzz in the trade circles by securing a massive non-theatrical deal, signaling a turnaround in his career.
While Sreenivas hasn’t had a theatrical hit in recent years, his films consistently perform well in the non-theatrical space. A major reason behind this success is his immense popularity in the Hindi-speaking regions. His Hindi-dubbed films garner millions of views on YouTube and enjoy strong TRPs on television, making his projects highly valuable for digital and satellite rights.
That trend continues with Bhairavam, which has reportedly locked in a non-theatrical deal worth ₹30 crore. The actor himself confirmed this in recent promotional interviews. Considering the film’s total budget is around ₹45 crore, more than two-thirds of the cost has already been recovered even before the theatrical release.
If Bhairavam manages to earn at least ₹20 crore from its theatrical run, the project will comfortably enter the profit zone for its producers. With positive early buzz and a promising cast that includes Manchu Manoj, Nara Rohit, Divya Pillai, and Aanandhi, the film is expected to make a solid impact at the box office.
All eyes are now on Bhairavam as it readies for release—potentially marking a long-awaited comeback for Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas in Telugu cinema.
