The Bombay High Court is scheduled to hear a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) on February 19th, which will examine the mysterious deaths of actor Sushant Singh Rajput and his former manager, Disha Salian. The petition calls for the arrest and questioning of Shiv Sena (UBT) MLA Aditya Thackeray in relation to the two deaths. Sushant’s father, KK Singh, expressed hope that the new Maharashtra government would support his pursuit of justice for his son. He emphasized that he believes Sushant did not die by suicide, calling this period an emotionally difficult time since his son’s untimely death. He is optimistic that the upcoming court proceedings will reveal the truth and that the current chief minister will ensure justice is served. Sushant, aged 34, was found dead at his Bandra residence on June 14, 2020, sparking widespread controversy and prompting the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to take over the investigation. KK Singh remains firm in his belief that his son’s death was not a suicide and is eager for the truth to come to light.
