Tollywood superstar Jr. NTR and acclaimed director SS Rajamouli, known for delivering blockbusters like Student No. 1, Simhadri, Yamadonga, and RRR, are all set to reunite for another major project. According to a recent report by Pinkvilla, the actor-director duo is teaming up once again for a film titled Made In India, which promises to be a prestigious pan-India venture.
Made In India will chronicle the life and legacy of Dada Saheb Phalke, hailed as the Father of Indian Cinema. Jr. NTR is set to portray this iconic figure, and sources suggest he was deeply impressed by the film’s compelling script. The project, announced in September 2023, is being produced by Varun Gupta and SS Karthikeya, with Rajamouli overseeing its development and actively contributing to the script.
This ambitious film aims to capture the journey of Indian cinema’s pioneer and will be made on a grand scale. Further details about the cast and crew are expected to be revealed in due course.
Meanwhile, NTR is currently busy filming Dragon, directed by Prashanth Neel. The film recently completed a key schedule in Karnataka and is scheduled for release on June 25, 2026.
