Date:

Bollywood’s latest historical drama, Chhaava, continues its impressive run at the box office. The biopic on Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj has collected nearly ₹225 crore nett in India within a week and crossed the ₹300 crore mark globally.

Recognizing its impact, the governments of Madhya Pradesh and Goa have declared Chhaava tax-free, with more states expected to follow suit. This move will boost the film’s daily earnings, benefiting both the makers and distributors.

Directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films, Chhaava features Vicky Kaushal, Akshaye Khanna, Rashmika Mandanna, and Vineet Kumar in key roles. The film’s music is composed by AR Rahman.
