Megastar Chiranjeevi is known for his clarity and precision when it comes to his film projects, especially regarding production and release plans. However, for the first time, his upcoming film Vishwambara is surrounded by uncertainty. Despite numerous rumors and growing speculation, the makers have not yet issued an official statement about the release date.
Reports from the Tollywood media suggest that Vishwambara might hit theaters on July 24th, but there has been no confirmation from the team. The delay is reportedly due to ongoing work on the film’s VFX, which still requires Chiranjeevi’s final approval before moving ahead with the release announcement.
Interestingly, the Hindi rights of the film have been sold for a record price, highlighting the film’s strong market potential. However, the deals for digital and satellite rights are still pending. Once finalized, these deals will help recover a significant portion of the film’s budget.
Amidst all this, there are also rumors suggesting that the release could be pushed to Dasara or possibly even postponed to next year, which has left fans anxious. Given that Vishwambara is a high-budget, pan-Indian socio-fantasy drama, the team is under pressure to select an optimal release window that ensures wide and comfortable distribution across all languages.
