Daaku Maharaaj Pre-Release Event Cancelled Out of Respect for Tirupati Tragedy

The pre-release event for Balakrishna’s Daaku Maharaaj, scheduled for this evening in Ananthapuram, Andhra Pradesh, with Minister Nara Lokesh as the chief guest, has been cancelled.

In an official statement, the makers expressed their deep sorrow over a recent tragic incident at the Lord Venkateswara temple in Tirupati. They described the event as profoundly upsetting, especially at a place of faith and hope for millions of devotees.

Acknowledging the sentiments of the public, the team decided it would be inappropriate to go ahead with the celebration. They requested fans to understand their decision during this somber time.

Daaku Maharaaj features an ensemble cast including Bobby Simha, Shraddha Srinath, Pragya Jaiswal, Urvashi Rautela, and Chandini Chowdary in significant roles. The film is produced by Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, with music composed by Thaman.
