Tollywood’s romantic comedy ‘Darling,’ featuring Nabha Natesh and Priyadarshi, is set for its internet premiere. Directed by Aswin Raam, the film was released on July 19, 2024, but didn’t make a significant impact at the box office.
‘Darling’ centers around Raghav, played by Priyadarshi, who dreams of a honeymoon in Paris. His plans fall apart when his fiancée elopes on their wedding day, leaving him heartbroken. At his lowest, he meets Anandhi, portrayed by Nabha Natesh. Sharing his sorrow, Raghav impulsively proposes to Anandhi, and she accepts. However, their journey takes unexpected turns as Raghav discovers Anandhi’s personal struggles.
Despite a lukewarm reception in theaters, the film’s creators have made a decent profit from streaming rights, thanks to the HanuMan brand. ‘Darling’ will have a second chance to capture audiences when it becomes available for streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar on August 13.
