Decoding the Trend: Negative Campaigns Against ‘Dil’ Raju’s Films

Date:

A disturbing trend has emerged in Telugu cinema, where certain films become targets of extensive hate campaigns, leading to detrimental effects on their success. This tactic, whether through fabricated ratings on platforms like Book My Show or relentless trolling on social media, has proven alarmingly effective in denting advance bookings and overall audience turnout.

Among the casualties of this trend are notable films like ‘Guntur Karam’ featuring ‘Super Star’ Mahesh Babu and the more recent ‘Family Star’ starring Vijay Devarakonda. Notably, these attacks seem to be selective, focusing primarily on films associated with ace producer ‘Dil’ Raju.

‘Dil’ Raju’s production house, Sree Venkateshwara Films, has borne the brunt of these malicious campaigns, with ‘Family Star’ being the latest victim. Similarly, ‘Guntur Karam’ faced targeted negativity despite its potential.

The pattern is clear: films backed by ‘Dil’ Raju are deliberately singled out for criticism. It’s imperative for this influential producer and distributor to take decisive legal action against those responsible for orchestrating these smear campaigns. By doing so, Raju can safeguard not only his current projects but also future endeavors from falling prey to such malicious tactics.
