Anil Ravipudi, born on November 23, 1982, is a prominent Indian film director and screenwriter known for his work in Telugu cinema.
Anil Ravipudi Direction Journey:
His directorial journey commenced with the action-packed comedy “Pataas” in 2015. Following this success, he helmed two more action comedies, “Supreme” (2016) and “Raja The Great” (2017). His knack for humor was evident in the comedy blockbuster “F2: Fun and Frustration” (2019).
Continuing his streak, Ravipudi ventured into action territory with “Sarileru Neekevvaru” in 2020, captivating audiences with his versatility. His penchant for sequels led to the much-awaited “F3: Fun and Frustration” (2022), a standalone sequel to “F2: Fun and Frustration”.
In a departure from his comedic roots, Ravipudi ventured into the realm of pure action with “Bhagvanth Kesari” in 2023. Notably, “F2: Fun and Frustration” was showcased in the “Indian Panorama” Mainstream section of the 50th International Film Festival of India.
Anil Ravipudi Early Life:
After graduating from Vignan College with a B.Tech degree in 2005, Ravipudi embarked on his filmmaking journey by joining his uncle P. A. Arun Prasad as an assistant director. He honed his skills further by contributing as a dialogue writer for notable films such as “Sankham” (2009) and “Kandireega” (2011), showcasing his talent early on in the industry. Additionally, he co-wrote the scripts for films like “Masala” (2013) and “Aagadu” (2014), establishing himself as a versatile writer.
Ravipudi collaborated with director Santosh Srinivas on the critically acclaimed “Kandireega” (2011), where his writing prowess shone through. This collaboration paved the way for his directorial debut, “Pataas,” a project that garnered widespread acclaim and success, particularly under the production of Nandamuri Kalyan Ram.
Continuing his streak of success, Ravipudi’s films consistently resonated with audiences and critics alike. In 2023, his directorial venture “Bhagvanth Kesari” hit the screens during Dasara and emerged as a box office sensation, further solidifying his position as one of Tollywood’s most beloved directors and screenwriters.
