Ram Pothineni and Puri Jagannadh’s Double iSmart, the sequel to the 2019 blockbuster iSmart Shankar, has resumed shooting in Mumbai after a hiatus. The team is currently filming crucial sequences, building up the anticipation for this mass entertainer.
Recently, the makers teased fans with a picture of Ram Pothineni, hinting at an upcoming update. While details are yet to be revealed, Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt’s inclusion as the antagonist has already created a buzz, with reports of him being paid generously for the role. Originally slated for a March 8 release, production delays necessitated a postponement.
Kavya Thapar joins the cast as the female lead, while renowned composer Mani Sharma is set to weave his magic with the tunes, following the success of his tracks in iSmart Shankar. Produced by Charmme Kaur and Puri Jagannadh under the banner of Puri Connects, Double iSmart promises to be another thrilling ride for fans of the franchise.
