Following the setback of “Liger,” renowned Tollywood director Puri Jagannadh announced “Double Ismart,” the sequel to “iSmart Shankar,” featuring Ustaad Ram Pothineni. This highly anticipated pan-Indian film is scheduled to hit theaters on August 15, 2024.
At the trailer launch event held in Vizag last night, fans were disappointed by the absence of director Puri Jagannadh. In a video message, Puri apologized for not attending, explaining that he was in Mumbai handling the film’s censor work and other commitments. He expressed his love for Vizag and encouraged fans to enjoy the trailer.
“Double Ismart” stars Kavya Thapar as the female lead, with a talented ensemble cast including Bani J, Ali, Getup Sreenu, Sayaji Shinde, Makrand Deshpande, and Temper Vamsi. The film also features Sanjay Dutt as the main antagonist. Produced by Puri Connects and featuring music by Manisharma, this action drama promises to be an engaging watch.
