L2: Empuraan is a recently released movie which is smashing all the records in the box office. While the movie is facing some controversy, the film is getting good results from the audience. There is a large footfall in the theaters for this movie. The movie is directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran.It is a political, action drama which has all the elements in it. The movie had now become a ray of hope for distributors and producers.
Empuraan went on a record-breaking spree in its first week and collected 67 Cr in Kerala. it gathered a massive amount of 133 Cr overseas. The sequel was able to mint around 30 Cr in the rest of India.the film has collected 230 Cr gross in its 1st week at the worldwide box office.
With the 1st-week collections itself, L2E emerges as the top 2nd grosser of Mollywood.it is all set to beat Manjummel Boys by today itself to become a new industry highest grosser.
