Among South Indian films, it now holds the fifth-highest opening, trailing only Baahubali 2, RRR, Pushpa 2, and KGF 2. Mollywood’s highest-grossing film in Australia to date is Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Aadu Jeevitham, with A$693K. However, Empuraan is on track to surpass this milestone within a day and is poised to become the first Malayalam film to cross the A$1 million mark in Australia.
