The final trailer of Kalki 2898 AD is set to be unveiled this evening at 6 PM, and Prabhas fans are eagerly awaiting the spectacle. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the film is gearing up for a grand release on June 27. A pre-release event in Mumbai has already amplified the anticipation, especially in the Hindi-speaking regions.
However, recent buzz suggests there will be no pre-release event in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Initial plans mentioned Amaravati as the venue, later shifting to Hyderabad, but now it appears that the makers have decided against hosting an event in the Telugu states. An official confirmation is still pending.
Interestingly, the promotional strategy for Kalki 2898 AD has been unique. Following in the footsteps of Salaar, which also skipped pre-release events, the film’s promotion began with special promos during IPL matches. Additionally, a specially designed vehicle named Bujji toured the country, and now, special episodes featuring the director are being released online.
The film boasts an impressive cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, Disha Patani, Pasupathy, Rajendra Prasad, Saswata Chatterjee, and Shobana. Produced by Ashwini Dutt under Vyjayanthi Movies, the music is composed by Santosh Narayanan.
