This collaboration between Mahesh Babu and Rajamouli was conceptualized almost a decade ago. However, Rajamouli had not developed any storylines when the project was initially agreed upon. In a recent interview promoting “Love Mouli,” the film’s director, Avaneendra—who was Rajamouli’s assistant director on “RRR”—shared an intriguing update.
Avaneendra revealed that during the production of “RRR,” Rajamouli consulted his team about the story and genre suitable for Mahesh Babu’s film. After considering various genres, Rajamouli and his team unanimously decided on an adventure genre for SSMB29. Following this decision, Rajamouli and his father, Vijayendra Prasad, began crafting the story for SSMB29
