According to the latest reports, Thalaivar173 is likely to begin production in July 2025, after Mani Ratnam wraps up the theatrical release of Thug Life. Mani Ratnam’s Madras Talkies is expected to co-produce the film in collaboration with a leading Kollywood production house.
