The much-anticipated collaboration between Vijay Deverakonda and director Parasuram, titled “Family Star,” turned out to be a major disappointment, falling short both in content and box office collections. Following the success of “Geetha Govindam,” expectations were high for this latest project, but it failed to meet the hype.
“Family Star” is now available for streaming on Prime Video, offering content in both Telugu and Tamil languages with English subtitles. The film made its digital debut just three weeks after its theatrical release due to its underwhelming performance at the box office.
Despite its poor reception, the movie features a notable cast, including Mrunal Thakur as the leading lady opposite Vijay Deverakonda. The supporting roles are portrayed by prominent actors such as Jagapathi Babu, Vasuki, Abhinaya, Divyansha Kaushik, and Vennela Kishore.
The film is produced by renowned producer Dil Raju under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations, with music composed by Gopi Sundar. Despite the early OTT release, the creators are hoping to attract a wider audience on Prime Video.
