During his campaign tours for the 2024 general elections and on several previous occasions, Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has alleged that unidentified individuals are plotting to assassinate him. The Central Intelligence Department’s latest report lends further credibility to Pawan’s claims.
According to recent reports, the intelligence department has confirmed a genuine threat to Pawan Kalyan’s life. Officials from the department have reportedly contacted Pawan Kalyan to advise him to take extra precautions. The department has intercepted several messages mentioning Pawan Kalyan’s name in certain “unwanted groups,” raising concern among his supporters.
Currently, Pawan Kalyan, as the Deputy CM of Andhra Pradesh, is provided with round-the-clock security. It remains to be seen if his security will be upgraded to the Z category in response to the latest threat.
