Mamitha Baiju, who gained widespread recognition with the Malayalam romantic comedy Premalu, has recently signed another exciting project with the same director. Titled Bethlehem Kudumba Unit, the film also stars Nivin Pauly and is being backed by notable producers including Fahadh Faasil.
Thanks to the massive success of Premalu, Mamitha has quickly become one of the most sought-after young talents in South Indian cinema. Her upcoming slate is packed with high-profile projects across multiple languages.
She is currently part of several big-ticket films, including Suriya’s next with director Venky Atluri and Jana Nayagan starring Thalapathy Vijay. She’s also working on Irandu Vaanam with filmmaker Ram Kumar and another film titled Dude alongside director-actor Pradeep Ranganathan.
Mamitha is also set to reprise her role in the much-anticipated sequel Premalu 2 and is involved in two untitled projects with directors Dinoy Paulose and Vignesh Raja.
With such a solid lineup, Mamitha Baiju’s calendar is fully booked for the next three to four years. While it remains to be seen how each of these films shapes her career, there’s no doubt she’s on a promising path to stardom.
