Game Changer and Daaku Maharaaj Unaffected by High Court’s Ticket Price Ruling

Date:

A petition was recently filed challenging the ticket price hikes for the Sankranthi releases Game Changer and Daaku Maharaaj in Andhra Pradesh. The High Court has issued a ruling, limiting the ticket price hikes to a 10-day period, instead of the previously proposed 14 days. However, there was no cap placed on the ticket prices themselves.

This decision is unlikely to impact the prospects of both films, as the Sankranthi weekend falls within the 10-day period, allowing the films to capitalize on the increased ticket prices during this high-demand time. After the 10-day window, ticket prices will return to normal, potentially attracting a broader audience to theaters.

Both Game Changer and Daaku Maharaaj continue to ride high on positive buzz. The pre-release event for Daaku Maharaaj is set for January 9th in Anantapur, and the censor formalities for both films are expected to be completed shortly.
