In a surprising development, the movie is set for an early digital release on Netflix, just two weeks after its theatrical debut. Starting June 14, 2024, Gangs of Godavari will be available for streaming in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
Directed by Krishna Chaitanya, the film features a talented cast including Anjali, Nasser, Sai Kumar, Hyper Aadi, and Goparaju Ramana. The project is backed by Sithara Entertainments in association with Fortune Four Cinemas, with Yuvan Shankar Raja composing the music.
